WHY ME?
I believe that great Graphic Design makes a lasting impression on those who interact with it. Too often, companies settle for mediocre design and generic marketing strategies. I want to be a part of a creative team that cultivates fresh creative thinking which inspires people to act and solve real problems. I want to stand out from the majority and establish something new and unexpected. I believe that the finest creativity has the potential to change the world. I want to create evocative work that makes a real impact on the way people live their lives day to day.
Photography has always been apart of my life and I have always loved and respected it as a medium. I went down many paths before realizing that the right one was staring me in the face. It's funny how it is possible to overlook something that you love as a career option. I like to try to engage each project in a new innovative way and create the most visually interesting material. I welcome ideas and concepts from clients because I believe that the best work can come from collaborating and combining.
I, Verterris Bryant was born and raised in the Capitol of the Sunshine State (Tallahassee). I started my career with a number two pencil and a few sheets of college ruled paper. My career initially begin with drawings of my surroundings to the imagines that fulfilled my membrane. I kept my passion and niche for artistic design until I walked across the stage of James S. Rickards High School.
During my first two years of college, my mission and major was unclear and fogged due to the various studies that Tallahassee Community College offered. I did not give up there, I graduated with my Associates of Arts degree and transferred to Florida A&M University, where my mission and major started to clear itself up. Graphics, fine arts, photography, and designing became my passion.
Graduating in December of 2011 with a GPA of 3.7 and a Bachelors of Arts in Graphic Design, I was just getting started.
The last three years of my life has been fulfilled with the wonders of graphic design and photography. My work also includes logos for Muscle Energy Source, Florida State Athletics, and Cornerback of the Pittsburgh Steelers, William Gay, and numerous other NFL celebrities. I enhanced my skills with the mass production of musical and industrial business flyers and promotional materials. I currently designs for Florida State University, with a main focus on the Athletic Department. My most recent project landed me on a well-known and highly visible billboard in the Tallahassee area. The billboard features a design of my high school alma mater football team which I also design free materials for, as a way of giving back to my Alma Mater.
